Lanista lists four stock-referenced perps and two crypto perps. Stock-referenced markets are perpetual contracts that track a stock price. They don't give ownership of the underlying shares.

Market Type Max leverage Last 15 min Maintenance Max price age
NVDA Stock-referenced 10× 5× 2% 5 min
TSLA Stock-referenced 10× 5× 2% 5 min
HOOD Stock-referenced 10× 5× 2% 5 min
AAPL Stock-referenced 10× 5× 2% 5 min
ETH Crypto 20× 20× 1% 2 min
BTC Crypto 20× 20× 1% 2 min

Open interest on each side of a market is capped at 10% of the pool, and every fill pays a 0.2% spread.

Price sources

On testnet, prices arrive through mirror feeds: contracts with the Chainlink aggregator interface whose answers are copied from Chainlink's mainnet feeds by a mirror service that Lanista operates. HOOD has no Chainlink feed, so its mirror reads an off-chain source and is labelled that way everywhere.

A price older than its market's limit can't fill an order, and an upstream answer older than 26 hours is treated as stale. When prices go stale, the risk gate denies new orders on that market and the app labels it Stale.

Sessions

Stock-referenced markets accept new exposure only during the US regular trading session, with market holidays recorded on chain. In the last 15 minutes of the session, leverage on new stock exposure drops from 10× to 5×. Outside the session the market is closed to new orders, and open positions stay visible with their last price. ETH and BTC trade around the clock.
